"Your breath is the intimate language of your body - the way you breathe is how you talk to your body, and it directly impacts how your body responds." – Marlene

In this self-paced 25h online module, you’ll dive deeply into the power of breath, exploring it from both a Western scientific perspective and an Eastern Yogic view. We’ll clarify common misconceptions about breathing, especially for yoga teachers, and learn how different techniques affect the body physiologically and energetically.

You’ll also explore subtle energies as described in Yoga scriptures (Prana, Kundalini, Nadis & Vayus) and how to work with them in a therapeutic and holistic way. By understanding the Subtle Body, you’ll build a stable foundation for teaching Pranayama and Breathwork safely and confidently.

Merging theory with practice, and science with ancient wisdom, this module will guide you to not only understand the respiratory system cognitively, but to truly feel the effects of Pranayama - and teach from embodied knowledge to support your students’ wellbeing.
