In this self-paced 25h online module you get the chance to profoundly comprehend the power of breath, from a Western, scientific view as well as from an eastern, Yogic view.

We will unlock common misconceptions about breathing, especially as it applies to yoga teachers and understand how the different breath techniques work on the physiological level, as well as a more energetic level.

We will take a close look at the subtle, vital energies as they are described in Yoga scriptures (Prana, Kundalini, Nadis & Vayus) and how we can work with them in a therapeutic and holistic manner.

As we understand the Subtle Body we create a stable foundation for holistic sequencing and teaching of Breathwork and Pranayama classes.

Merging theory with practice, and science with ancient wisdom, this module will guide you to not only cognitively understand the Respiratory system, but to truly feel the effects of Pranayama and teach from an embodied knowing to support your students wellbeing in the best possible way.

About Marlene

Marlene is a 1000hrs+ certified Yoga Teacher (YACEP, E-RYT) and founder of Yoga on the Move. Ever since she started practicing yoga she is fascinated by the healing power of yoga on a physical, mental and emotional level. She dedicated the past 10 years of her life to studying the Yogic body with some of the world's leading yoga teachers and countless travels to the source, India. Through her classes she wants to inspire to let go of the everyday worries and invite to dive into deeper layers of consciousness. She teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Meditation, Yin Yoga, Sequencing and Teaching Methodology.
