Inhale through the nose for 4.
Hold the breath for 7.
Exhale forcefully through the mouth for 8, making a 'whoosh' sound.
Sit or lie down. Place the tip of your tongue against the ridge of tissue behind your upper front teeth.
Resting comfortably.
The exhalation must be exactly twice as long as the inhalation.
